Different views regarding sarcasm
Sometimes sarcasm may be humorous and playful and there is nothing wrong with that. But some other times sarcasm is used to distract and disempower other people. As such, it implies some kind of negativity and toxicity that is diffused into our relationships even in those ones that are important to us.
