Why is trust so important in our lives? Everything you need to know.

The etymology of the word trust

Harmony in life

Having faith in one another is important for our happiness and well-being. Here are some of its benefits. It creates positivity, safety, and beauty in our lives.

This quality goes hand in hand with building harmonious relationships in all aspects of our lives (personal, familial, and professional). It is closely associated with emotional intimacy, as well as and feelings of belonging.

Nevertheless, why is so difficult to apply in our everyday life? Why is it so hard not only to have faith in others but also to inspire trust, even towards those we care about?

Building and receiving trust requires a certain degree of self-confidence and integrity. Integrity, in turn, requires courage and inner strength.

Check out the link below for an explanation of how fears and insecurities may cause distance rather than closeness, break trust and prevent us from forming strong, loving bonds:

Hi, nice image by the way! I believe that the truth is somewhere in between. Knowing that there are people out there who want to take advantage of other people or have no problem being dishonest, someone should be careful. How can we recognize that in advance?

    Hi again!
I think that sooner or later indications of lack of integrity will be manifested. At the same time, being nice to other people does not mean necessarily investing (emotionally) in them from the very begginign. Relationships are tested every day. You have nothing to be afraid of if you trust yourself (meaning that you won’t collapse emotionally if things go wrong).
